Jessica Simpson was saved from risking her voice during a recent taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show when she opted to speak the lyrics of her new song A Public Affair while her hostess performed an interpretive dance. Simpson damaged a blood vessel in her throat at the beginning of September (06) and has been forced to pull out of a series of promotional performances.
