Justin Timberlake has fought back against criticism of his movie debut in Edison. The singer plays a journalist in the new film, but his performance has been described as like “a reporter from Seventeen magazine” by one reviewer, whilst another dubbed the film “a star-studded dud of a B-picture”. However, despite the cool reception to his new career, Timberlake is determined to keep trying, having signed up for new action movie Stop Loss. He defiantly says, “I'm doing what I want to do, no matter what other people think. If you enjoy and you're inspired and driven, then that's all that matters."
